Episode Introduction

Welcome to this timely episode of GGP. The newest Dungeons and Dragons release, “Journeys through the Radiant Citadel,” comes out tomorrow as of this release date. We discuss what we know about the release, and, because all the writers on the project are black or brown, talk about what it means for Wizards of the Coast taking some more steps toward better representation. Over the course of learning about “Radiant Citadel,” we went from “I don’t feel a huge urge to talk about this” to “this actually is pretty cool.” Check it out at your friendly local gaming store, and learn more about the many different civilization that populate this new hub location in the Ethereal Plane.

Watch: What is the Radiant Citadel?

Watch: Product Details

We talk a lot about Wizards/Dungeons and Dragons releases, so we’ve decided to start including spotlights on cool/fun/interesting indie games we find on itch.io. Just because we can’t stretch them out into a whole episode unto themselves doesn’t mean we shouldn’t talk about them. Kicking it off in this week, we have “Salt & Strife,” by qwo. It's set in the early modern period and revolves around tearing down the powerful. Enjoy!
