Our first episode of 2022 features show regular Gene Park and a discussion centered around that beloved '80s fan-favorite, G.I. JOE #21! The reason? Because Gene owns the complete interiors...and the cover has just now hit auction! We talk to Gene before and after the big event. And the auction is even bigger than we had anticipated...besides the huge sale of the G.I. JOE #21 cover, it also featured an absolute jaw-dropper: The record-setting $3.36 million sale of a single comic panel page. Of course, we had to talk about that, too! We close out this episode with a chat I had with Danish author/film critic, Christian Monggaard (ROBERT CRUMB: I CAN'T DO PRETTY), on his podcast. We talk about all things comic art.
