SUMMARY:
Jane and Elizebeth talk together about the dance, and more importantly, Jane’s feeling about Mr Bingley. Elizabeth approves of Jane’s fancying of Bingley, saying that she has never before liked anyone that wasn’t a bad choice for her. They then discuss the sisters of Mr Bingley, and though she is uncertain of their characters, Jane seems very fond of them. It is assumed that Bingley will eventually move full time to the area, and sooner rather than later as he took Netherfield house after seeing it for little more than 30 minutes. More is discussed of Darcy and Bingley’s relationship. Darcy is clearly the superior of the two, not only in rank, but in intellect. Bingley is, however, far more likable.
