Hey there surfer dudes and dudettes! Ready to catch some waves? Let's dive into the gnarly surf zone forecast for the California coast!
Starting off with the Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, today's rip current risk is moderate with waves reaching 2 to 4 feet. No thunderstorms in sight, but make sure to check out the water temperature ranging from 60 to 66 degrees. Don't forget your sunscreen and catch a mix of west and south swell!
Moving on to Ventura County Beaches, we're looking at a high rip current risk with waves hitting 3 to 5 feet. The water might be a bit cooler at 60 to 62 degrees, but don't let that stop you from riding the west swell and having a blast out there!
As we head towards Santa Barbara County, we're seeing a moderate rip current risk, with waves ranging from 1 to 3 feet. The water temperature dips to 57 to 59 degrees, but with a mix of west swell, it's still a great day to hang ten.
And for our friends at San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, you can expect some serious swell action! Waves at the northwest-facing beaches will be pumping at 6 to 9 feet, while the southwest-facing ones will have waves from 3 to 6 feet. Keep an eye out for that west swell and have an epic time out on the water!
Remember, stay safe, watch out for those rip currents, and most importantly, have fun riding those waves! This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
