Ahoy there, surfers and beach bums! It's time to catch some gnarly waves with your favorite surf forecast coming your way from the National Weather Service. So, grab your boards and sunscreen, and let's dive into the forecast for some epic surf sessions!
Starting off with the Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a high rip current risk today, so be extra careful out there. The surf height is about 2 to 4 feet, building to 4 to 6 feet with local sets up to 7 feet possible. Water temperatures range from 60 to 66 degrees. And hey, there's a west swell rolling in for your wave-riding pleasure!
Moving down to Ventura County Beaches, the conditions are pretty similar with a high rip current risk. Surf heights are ranging from 2 to 4 feet, building to 4 to 6 feet with local sets up to 7 feet possible. Water temperatures sitting pretty between 64 to 66 degrees. Another day to enjoy that west swell, folks!
Venturing over to Santa Barbara County, be aware of a moderate rip current risk today. Surf heights are hitting 2 to 4 feet with local sets up to 5 feet. Water temperatures ranging from 61 to 63 degrees. The waves are looking good with that west swell rolling through!
Now for the San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, there's some serious surf to catch! Northwest facing beaches are seeing 6 to 9 feet waves while southwest facing beaches are sitting at 4 to 7 feet. Water temperatures around 53 to 55 degrees. Remember, there's a rad west swell to ride all day long!
