Hey there, surfers! Ready for some juicy details about what the waves have in store for us? Let's dive into the surf zone forecast for California!
Starting off in Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, today and tomorrow, expect surf heights of 1 to 3 feet with a low risk of rip currents. The water temperature will be between 67 to 75 degrees, so it'll be quite refreshing out there. And oh, don't worry about any thunderstorms, they won't be crashing our beach party. Just watch out for those west swells rolling in!
Heading over to Ventura County Beaches, similar conditions await you with 1 to 3 feet of surf height, low rip current risk, and water temperatures ranging from 66 to 68 degrees. Another day of those lovely west swells.
For our beachgoers in Santa Barbara County, including the southwestern and southeastern coast, you'll see smaller waves at 1 to 2 feet height today, slightly picking up to 1 to 2 feet tomorrow. The water temperature will be cozy between 67 to 69 degrees with low rip current risks. Remember to check out those tides for the best surfing times!
And up North at San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, we've got some bigger waves lined up. Today, expect surf heights of 2 to 4 feet, while tomorrow it'll bump up to 3 to 5 feet. Mixed swells from the west and south will keep things interesting. Watch out for those tides, especially the low ones in the early morning.
Overall, it looks like a fun few days to catch some waves along the California coast with moderate temperatures and manageable rip current risks. So wax up your boards, grab your wetsuits, and hit the water!
