In today's episode we speakwith Charles D. Lincoln, an actor, writer, producer, musician, activist, and sometimes-advice columnist. Charles was born and spent the first few years of his life in the area of New York City known as Hell's Kitchen, to a mixed race mother and horror/adult film legend, Fred J. Lincoln, who instilled in him a love of cinema, from a very early age. With the silver screen as his weekend destination as a child, he wrote stories and scripts for fun and appeared in friends' short films and music videos, growing up, but focused more on music than film, fronting the touring bands Dark Eden and Nemesis Imperium.
Upon his father's death and after losing half his hearing from Meniere's Disease, he decided to take things a bit more seriously, and dove into the world of television and film, full time. Besides being an actor, Charles stepped behind the camera, producing (with his C. L. Squared Productions partner, Chelsea LeSage) and writing the award-winning vampire feature, Theresa + Allison, as well as writing, directing, and co-producing the cult hit webseries (that later found its way to Amazon), 21st Century Demon Hunter, based off the novel of the same title he had written and starring Chelsea. Bishop's Cove will be his feature film directorial debut.
