Jalise’s journey into the world of firearms began early—she started hunting with her father while still in diapers, shooting rifles and shotguns by age 4, and entering competitive shooting by the age of 10.
Now, Jalise is a dominant force across multiple shooting disciplines, including USPSA, IPSC, USSL, Steel Challenge, UHSS, IDPA, and Multi-Gun. Her achievements speak for themselves: 3 World Titles, Gold and Silver Pan American Medals, 29 National Titles, 160 Major Titles, and 9 National Records. She has proudly represented the USA on the world stage, including earning team and individual medals at the Pan American Games and the 2023 Shotgun World Shoot.
In this episode, Jalise shares her recent accomplishments—placing 6th among the best in the world and 3rd among USA women at the 2024 Rifle World Shoot, and earning High Lady IDPA Iron Sights at the IDPA World Nationals. We also dive into the challenges she has faced in competition placement and explore how the selection process can be improved for future athletes.
