More about today’s winery

The Valentino Butussi winery is located on Via Forum Julii, an ancient Roman road that connected Cividale del Friuli to Aquileia, in the hilly part between the Rosazzo hill and the Gramogliano hill. Already two thousand years ago this area was considered among the most suitable for Friulian viticulture.

Angelo Butussi, immediately understanding the enormous potential that this fascinating valley called "Prà di Corte" could have, established his company headquarters here, planting those vineyards which in the following years gave rise to some of the most significant wines of production corporate.
