So often a cheery onslaught of images and commercials kick off the holiday season worldwide. Our calendars fill up with parties and travel. There’s so much going on that we can easily forget those that are experiencing a sad season. Sure, we will see posts on social media reminding us to think of those who lost loved ones or those who just don’t have happy memories – and perhaps even experienced trauma – in connection with the holidays, but the dominant focus is on good cheer. On this week's episode, we open up a discussion on dealing with loss and sadness over the holidays and also suggest ways to be there for others who may be lonely or grieving.
