NVIC co-founder and president Barbara Loe Fisher discusses a vaccine concealment law recently enacted by the Washington DC City Council that gives doctors in the city the power to persuade a child as young as 11 years old to consent to getting vaccines recommended by the federal government without the knowledge or consent of the child's parents. She points out that the new law violates parental rights provisions and informed consent protections in several federal laws and places children at risk for suffering vaccine reactions that will not be recognized by parents they have not been informed their children have been vaccinated.
