Elle Tucker is joined by Hamed Yazdi, Founder and Chief Growth Officer at Rideshare Mechanic. Hamed shares his startup story and how the idea came about for Rideshare Mechanic, which provides a virtual vehicle inspection that is used by rideshare companies such as Uber and Lyft to determine if the driver’s car meets the minimum requirements. Hamed goes on to talk about how the model helps rideshare - as well as peer-to-peer car rental platforms - reduce friction and build trust, and shares with Elle his vision for how the model can be applied elsewhere in the sharing economy.
