Community Matters has learned that the attorney for the Committee for Marshall - Not the Megasite has filed an application for leave of appeal with the Michigan Supreme Court.
Not unexpected, the move is the last potential opportunity for the committee to get a court to see things its way as it relates to a potential referendum about the planned Ford BlueOval battery plant going up at the Marshall Megasite.
Attorney Robby Dube returns to Community Matters to discuss the points he think will make the high court choose to hear the case - and the length of time it could take to hear it.
