Weight loss is simple. Eat less. Move more. It's as simple as CICO: Calories-IN vs Calories-OUT. This common-sense approach works for everybody at first, but it doesn't work forever. Because someday, you'll be running like a racehorse and eating like a bluebird. That's not healthy.

Metabolic adaptation can work for you or against you. My good friend Ravi Teja Dhanalakota is experiencing this issue firsthand. Today, Ravi and I talk about how *Reverse Dieting can get him out of this fitness rut. Together, we create a game-plan for the rest of 2021. By the end of the year, Ravi can build muscle and burn fat, while eating more and moving less.

(*Reverse Dieting: gradually increasing your calorie intake over a period of time in order to boost your metabolism.)
