I discuss what Riot said in their post and more importantly in their video about dynamic que. Here is the link: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/features/dynamic-queue-and-future-league I feel that Riot has dropped the ball while trying to adapt a system that had flaws. The people that played in the old system do no like the new system as they are not used to it, don't like change, refused to adapt, or have their very idealistic views. Riot has tried to attempt to address these issues. Riot is actively trying to change to promote their game, better (nontoxic) play, and to more people. Their goals are not the goals of an solo que player. This is my attempt to break down what was given to the player masses. I try to bring an open mind and look at the problems in new ways that not everyone has. Hopefully you have found it informative and/or entertaining. Here are all the twitters for myself and the members in the Riot video: https://twitter.com/KnowtheRift https://twitter.com/Gbay99 https://twitter.com/dscarra https://twitter.com/RiotSocrates https://twitter.com/Pwyff https://twitter.com/RiotLobster link to league stuff: http://www.riotgames.com/legal-jibber-jabber - - Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/theam0 After thinking a bit more here a little more: Riot has opened up a problem it did not see, or greatly underestimated. The request to change back to soloque has been drastic on this subreddit and the other forums as well. Their most recent video was terrible at explaining their goals of the company and how they affect others. We as a community fail to understand what they are doing, because of poor communication. Riot is trying to adapt to have the game be played by more people and to change the image of being toxic. Those are the goals of dynamic que. They actually do not care about any and all of our individual problems in ranked. They have had more people play and with less toxicity so it is a success. They have come to understand the top 1%-3% need to play by different rules. This is common in every field in the world. They have been using funky math to try and get the algorithms to a better place. By stating that they have been messing with it live trys to explain some of our problems. As a community the rules we have played with for the last 5+ years have changed. The game has changed. The patches come and go. Without adaptation this game could have died long ago. We need to be more inclusive with the people joining ranked this season. Keep playing ranked. Keep working on those skills needed to climb out of where ever you are. Become better teammates in a game where the goal is to win as a team not carry as a solo. If you are worried about the top of the scene....well the cream rises to the top and there will always be a 1% whether you like it or not.
