The opportunity to dream as a child can be a powerful thing. In this episode, we converse with Dr. Teddy Totimeh, a neurosurgeon at the University of Ghana Medical Center in Accra, about the opportunities he had as a child that enabled him to dream about becoming a neurosurgeon and the many enablers, including mentors and teachers, that helped him to make that dream a reality. We also discuss the challenges of teaching and practicing surgery in Ghana and what it will take to change the status quo in Ghana and Africa.
