Kevin Smith's 'Chasing Amy' is one of my favorite films. I was just discussing its themes of friendship, love and disappointment yesterday. But it may mean even more to filmmaker Sav Rodgers. As a 12 year old queer kid from Kansas, 'Chasing Amy' forced a coming of age Sav to come to terms with his identity. In 'Chasing Chasing Amy' Rodgers examines the film and its making as a cornerstone of LGBTQ+ cinema but also finds himself at a complicated crossroads.
