Welcome back to the everyday endurance podcast, a podcast for everyday people who want to do extraordinary things, really slowly.

On this podcast, brothers Simon Perraton and Luke Perraton talk about training for, and competing in, endurance events, balancing family life and making it to work on Monday.

On this episode we talk about competing in a race with suboptimal training, or coming off a period of detraining, and hopefully avoiding straining, or re-straining something!

We also talked about snake bites, getting caught in a lightning storm and finishing ultra-endurance events with nothing left in the tank. We also talked about the real reasons for signing up for and completing an endurance event and differences between training for single events and multisport events. Good times!

If you enjoyed this episode make sure you share it with a friend.
