The fishermen had met Jesus before, but now, as Jesus is teaching, he asks for a favor. Jesus uses their fishing boat to preach to the crowd. Then, there is a surprising miracle and a call to follow. This story is found in Luke 5:1-11. The fishermen had to leave something behind to follow Jesus.
