Zabrina Douglas is a full-time nurse, full-time comedian and full-time mother of five. Hey, that’s three full-time things! How does she do that? Join us on this episode as Sarah tries to find out! Zabrina has an infectious positive energy that fuels her comedy and nursing. She loves both and can’t see doing one without the other. She is a professional comedian with YukYuks and performs primarily in the Toronto area. She also has recorded two albums with a third coming out soon. Her album, Things Black Girls Say was nominated for comedy album of the year at the 2023 Juno Awards. She has performed at Just For Laughs Toronto, The Toronto Fringe Festival, the Slo Comedy Festival in California and The Women's Comedy festival in Boston. Zabrina has been a regular and headlined Kenny Robinson's legendary "Nubian Disciples All Black Comedy Revue". She Created and Produces her Critically acclaimed show "Things Black Girls Say".
