SPECIAL EP. 100: This is the ultimate college story for our hosts: it’s the origin story of the College Stories podcast. Kevin, Jaimie, Jon, Shane & Elizabeth all met on a TV show they created at Ball State (that still exists today) which has a hell of a backstory. They worked together, lived together, eventually moved to NYC, worked in showbiz, and a couple of them even got married.

In part 1, we talk about how we all met, our first impressions of each other, and how you figure out what the hell you’re going to do with the rest of your life while you’re in college. If you are or ever were in college, and made strangers into friends, this is something you’ll relate to.

Some highlights:
–One of us is now PREGNANT
–Kevin talks about taking over the show, pretty much immediately
–Elizabeth & Kevin met and immediately thought the other one was an idiot.
One of the first things Shane ever said to Kevin was asking “if you and your cousin had sex, who would win?”
–Elizabeth & Jaimie’s 1st crazy house party with Kevin & Shane, running from the cops, and the boys helping the girls hop a fence to get away, like GENTLEMEN
–One decision Jaimie made, her sophomore year of college, that changed her whole life forever.
–Baby Jon shows up a year later and joins up with the show that’s already in progress, and has to bust his way into an already formed group.
–Kevin and Jaimie go from friends to, uh, more than that. Kevin describes their first encounter as “a pretty significant snog.”
–We go around the table and figure out who’s kissed who, and it’s pretty much everybody.
