In 2018, James made national news after being shot by the police for not ceasing fire at them. He was hit in the chest and sentenced to 10 years in jail. James was left a paraplegic and his life changed drastically from that moment on.
Years later, James is living a new life. Currently undertaking a welding apprenticeship, James enjoys sharing stories about resilience and accepting change.
He joins the ALTBAYS Table Talk to discuss his past, his experiences in jail, and his focus on personal growth.
