This year’s first AISTS Sports Medicine Podcast looks at the topic of "Can new technologies in MotoGP prevent riders from clavicle injuries" presented by Valentina Poggi and Tim Cetinich, class of 2017. Did you know that the maximum speed of a MotoGP motorbike is 361 km/h, 100 km/h more than the speed of an aeroplane that is taking-off. On average there are over 100 accidents a season with nearly every single rider injuring their clavicle to one extent or another, making it one of the most common injuries.
