With Microsoft's announcement this week that Xbox Series X would launch in November without Halo Infinite, which is delayed into 2021, yet another cloud of uncertainty appears as the company moves to launch its next generation console without a flagship first party game. What looked like a sleeping dragon at the beginning of the year now seems like something lesser, and it remains to be seen if Team Green repeats the mistakes of the launch of the Xbox One. Epic Games decided to go toe-to-toe with Apple this week as it moved to sue the hardware company over the removal of Fortnite from the Apple App Store after Epic updated the game to skirt the stores payment processing policies. Fall Guys does huge numbers on Steam, so huge it could fundamentally change publisher Devolver Digital going forward, Remedy's Control: Ultimate Edition is announced with an ugly next gen caveat for previous owners, Rocksteady is finally ready to talk about their Suicide Squad game at DC Fandome this month, and could some recent FCC filings for Sony's Dualsense controller point to an October launch for PlayStation 5?
