Former NFL WR’s Challenges With Hospital COVID Policy During Life-Saving Care For His Father (ft. Don Beebe)

In this episode Dr. Ben welcomes former NFL wide receiver Don Beebe. After being invited to the NFL combine trials as “the kid from nowhere with the blazing speed” #82 went on to set NFL speed and agility records, including a 4.21 forty-yard-dash at the pinnacle of his career. A nine-year veteran wide receiver, Beebe was the first person to play for six Super Bowl teams and was instrumental in helping the Green Bay Packers win Super Bowl XXXI. He went to 6 Super Bowls in his career, including 4 straight as a member of the legendary Buffalo Bills of the 1990s.
In 1998, Don founded House of Speed, training athletes in the essentials of top performance, speed and character. House of Speed began franchise operations in 2006 and has locations in eleven states. In 2004 he got into coaching high school football and won two state championships as a coach before becoming the head football coach at Aurora University in 2018.
He had to navigate the collegiate COVID mandates as a head football coach and also faced challenges navigating COVID hospital policy in life-saving care for his father.
