It’s one of those weeks where things are likely to feel a little blocked and challenged. With multiple squares going on in the cosmos, there’s a challenge to grow beyond our comfort zone and expand. Challenges are, after all, what helps to develop character.

Our first call to action is on Tuesday with the square of Mars and Jupiter. Jupiter expands the qualities of whatever planet he touches, so with this square, Mars energy should be overflowing. Yet, not always in a good way. We may be so filled with enthusiasm that we trip over our own shoelaces in order to attain our goals, to achieve, to, effectively, ‘win.’ Careless mistakes might be made with no regard for consequence. Piling our plates higher than we can possibly handle is a danger we may all find ourselves in.

So, what to do? Well, firstly, accept only those projects that really stoke your fire, and are realistically achievable in the time frame that you have. There’s no need to throw our ego into the mix and insist that we can, when we clearly, can’t. Secondly, conflict may be unavoidable, but engaging is a choice. If we find ourselves inflamed, put that fire right out. Instead, throw yourself into a physical task that channels all of that aggressive energy - effectively exhausting you and that devil on your shoulder.

The gentle sextiles between the Sun to Mars and Venus to Uranus, on Monday and Friday respectively, offer opportunities for exciting change, as well as clear direction of our will and energy. This goes a long way towards mitigating some of the harsher cosmic alignments. With the Sun and Saturn also meeting in a square on Sunday, it’s important to know our limits without beating ourselves up or painting a distorted self-image. We all have limitations. We all have flaws. There’s no point in covering them up or overcompensating. Know your faults, embrace them as human and walk with your head held high this week.
