This week is positively cooking, astrologically speaking. There are a grand total of three ingresses, meaning, planets changing signs. One of these - Jupiter - is quite the heavyweight. This planet of abundance, growth, and expansion changes signs annually, making this a pretty big collective shift of energy.

Jupiter heads from go-go-go Aries to patient, slow Taurus on Tuesday. Over the last year or so, we might have seen very fast and explosive growth in one or more areas of our lives, be that financial, professional, or within our social circles. It’s unique for everyone. Where did you expand the most? Now’s your moment to celebrate your gains and move onto the next chapter. Jupiter in Taurus may bring along an increase in wealth - material or otherwise - as well as an increase in comfort, indulgence, and pleasure. We’ll grow slowly now, in a much more methodical way. The twin qualities of caution and practicality will be expanded, with the Sun moving into Gemini on Sunday. Everything will be that much deliciously slow and sensual. Yummy! As if to add to the sumptuousness, there’s a lovely, grounded New Moon in Taurus on Friday, emphasizing the importance of finding our feet and planting roots. We need this, especially after the potentially chaotic Eclipse Season. Phew!

Adding to all these cosmic shifts is the move of both Mars, on Saturday, and the Sun, on Sunday, into playful Leo and Gemini, respectively. Both of these signs are ever so youthful and love to have fun. So, let’s have it! Get creative, have a party, learn something new, and embrace variety. ‘Tis the season for networking, self-expression, and social connection. There’ll be a few tricky moments, such as when Jupiter and Mars challenge Pluto, first on Wednesday with a Jupiter square and then on Saturday with Mars in opposition to Pluto. This is the time where we need to step up, push back against domination, and avoid taking on that role ourselves. Power is a keyword this week, but not the toxic kind. The kind that we wield over our own lives and our own behavior. More power to us.
