Watering is an excellent metaphor to illustrate how we default to following a path in our mind that doesn't serve us well. As we become more practiced in noticing our thoughts and emotional states, we will discover we spending a lot of time watering weeds. What are the weeds of your life? What are the flowers? You can definitely decide the flowers to water !
