I've come to believe that being alone shouldn't mean isolation. Let us start by recognizing what we believe being alone means to us and why the need for it is necessary when prompted. I've often heard and also been the person to say"I just can't be alone". I never asked myself why or sought to understand the more profound need here. I think we need to learn to be alone in healthy ways for a deeper understanding of self but still open to the world so we're not facing self-imposed isolation.
