She is the Founder of the National Black Doulas Association®, an organization committed to fighting the Black Maternal Mortality rate in America. The NBDA provides education, certification, and doula matching services for Black families. Through her influential leadership, Tracie has become a leading voice on midwifery, doulas, and at-home birthing, empowering Black women to take charge of their maternal health.
Her insights have been published widely, including The Grio, Rolling Stone, Essence, Washington Post, GMA, and as a contributor on Black Love, CNN Health, NBC Today and more. With over 23 years of experience in women’s holistic health and healing, her career has touched countless lives.
In November 2023, Tracie successfully sold the NBDA, capping her pioneering entrepreneurial journey. Having walked the path herself, she understands both the trials and triumphs of business ownership firsthand. Now, she is dedicated to crafting tailored solutions to help other entrepreneurs thrive.
