Happy Anniversary: "Being Renewed Day By Day!"

Scripture|

2 Corinthians 4:7-18

Memory Verse|

"So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is

wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.”

2 Corinthians 4:16

Review|

I. The Three Places We Can Live Our Lives:

1. "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God,

for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them

because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:14).

2. "The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged

by no one" (1 Corinthians 2:15).

3. "But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as

people of the flesh, as infants in Christ" (1 Corinthians 3:1).

II. The Spiritual Person:

1. thinks humility everyday. Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)

2. submits his/her life to the authority of God's Word. Psalm 19:7

3. surrenders his/her life to the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:16

4. settles the issue of whose he/she is. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

5. shares Jesus with others. Mark 1:17

III. But This Is How The Devil Wants To Outwit Us: John 8:44

1. Whatever God intended to be most important in my life, the devil

wants me to think it is less important. 2 Corinthians 2:11

2. Whatever God intended to bring the greatest enrichment, to be most

precious, and to be the greatest blessing in my life, the devil wants

to steal from my life. John 10:10

3. Whtever newness God has brought to my life, the devil wants it to

fade and become old in my life. 2 Corinthians 5:17

IV. On October 23, 1993, We Declared:

A. “We are committed to be a dynamic community of faith which is

and communicating authentic faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

An influential community: Evangelizing the world.”

Aggravating Overwhelming with Abundant Resting in His

Boring uncertainties Blessed peace

Changing Pressure-filled Christ in you Safe in His

Disappointing Quick-paced with Deliverence presence

Exhausting complexities Enthusiastic Trusting in His

Frustrating Relentless in its Faithful provision

Grinding problems Good Understanding

Hectic Stressful Hopeful His purpose

Impossible Tiring Important Victorious living

Juggling act Unfair Joyous Waiting on the

Killer Vanity Kind Lord

Lonely Worrisome Loving Xcellent

Meaningless Xtremely never ending Miraculous Yoked, allowing

Non-stop with Like being on a Yo-yo New every Him to carry

difficulties Like living in a Zoo morning the weight of

Overwhelming all my cares

with His mercy Zeal for Jesus is

Providential the reason

Quick paced with for every

God-sized season of life!
