Thomas and Sharifi both explained their organizations pre-existing relationships, underscoring the importance of past success and underlining the difficulties of establishing new gigs during the quarantine. An expert in the agriculture industry, Hussain discussed the relationship between commodities like the oil and gas industry and the price of corn. Thomas said disruptions from global supply chains hit hard could spur an increase in local manufacturing, which could affect a long-term recovery.
