The high level of burnout among clinicians in the U.S. is leading many to consider leaving the healthcare field entirely. This is having a negative impact on the quality of care patients receive. The healthcare industry needs help to protect and retain its workforce, which in turn will improve the quality of care patients receive.
Dr. Landers has a unique perspective, having practiced academic neonatology for fourteen years and serving on the faculty of two medical schools while raising three children with her husband.
