On this episode, we shall be analyzing the popular series SQUID Game --with the intention of answering the questions: What is it that those with all the money in the world and those with no money in the world both have in common?

Under what conditions can a human being get motivated to do bad things?

What strategy did a Korean series squid game use to became number 1 not only in Korea but in the entire world?

I first heard about it on twitter. I saw two influencers that I respect tweeting about it: basically, inviting their followers to watch it. When I moved over to my trending tab, I saw SQUID Game as most trending. Its hashtags had millions of tweets. Hundreds of millions of comments. I couldn’t believe it. The show is a hot topic across every social media platform, on TikTok alone the hashtag "#SquidGame" has been viewed more than 22.8 billion times. Almost triple the worlds population. Isn’t that crazy? How come?

Flix Patrol, a website that tracks streaming statistics for the top platforms in the world, reported that "Squid Game" is the No. 1 show in more than 90 countries, including the U.S., the United Kingdom and South Korea.

What intrigued me the more is that this series did no promo. They just aired and by means of word of mouth, they are at the top.

How could a Korean series become the most watched Netflix series of all time?

How could a movie having nothing to do with utopia, romance, vengeance, but rather evil, cruelty and dystopia became number 1.
