This week, we bring you everything you need to know about WWE Survivor Series 2024, which shattered attendance records at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena with 17,828 fans, marking WWE’s 63rd sellout of the year and the largest gate for a WWE event in Canada. The event delivered memorable moments, including two WarGames matches. Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and The Bloodline dominated the men’s WarGames, while Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair headlined the women’s match. Championship matches saw Gunther retain his World Heavyweight title, Bron Breakker defend the Intercontinental Championship, and Shinsuke Nakamura dethrone LA Knight for the United States Championship.

Meanwhile, AEW’s Continental Classic launched with electrifying matches as competitors battle for the prestigious title. Ricky Starks’ sudden removal from all GCW appearances stirred controversy, and AEW’s highly anticipated Australian debut moved to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Additionally, Kenny Omega is set to make his long-awaited return at Wrestle Dynasty in Tokyo on January 5, where The Young Bucks will also challenge for the IWGP Tag Team Championships after a six-year absence.

TNA also delivered a night to remember with Turning Point 2024 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, setting the stage for their conclusion to the year and a promising 2025.

In other news, WWE introduced the historic Women’s Intercontinental Championship on Raw, adding depth to the women’s division. Adam Copeland is nearing his return to AEW after recovering from a fractured tibia, though he won’t appear until after wrapping filming for Disney’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at the returning Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
