Lisa Knoefel had nothing but the greatest intentions when she opened her home to 16 year old Sabrina Zurich as a foster child in the summer of 2011 and made her a part of their family of 5. Little did she know that act of love and compassion would be met with violence just over a year later when Sabrina wielded a knife at her foster mother, stabbing her nearly 200 times on a November night in 2012.
