In this episode of the Midweek Takeaway, we’re joined by Rupert Verco, CEO of Cobra Resources, to discuss their latest milestone in advancing the Boland Project in South Australia. Cobra has achieved strong results from their in situ recovery (ISR) bench scale study, confirming ISR as a viable and cost-effective mining method for extracting high-value ionic rare earth elements. With notable increases in recoveries, including 57% for magnet rare earth oxides, Cobra is making significant strides toward commercialization. Rupert will share insights on the project’s potential, the low-cost ISR process, and what these results mean for Cobra’s future in rare earth mining.
