In this episode of the State of Developer Education podcast, Jon speaks with Marcus Hellberg, VP of Developer Relations at Vaadin, a provider of modern web frameworks for Java that empowers developers around the globe to create intuitive web applications that their users love! Previously, he worked as a Researcher for Abo Akademi University and was a Lead Developer at Collaboratum Oy.
They discuss Marcus’ beginnings in coding for fun; why he still works with Java; some of the difficulties and easiness of selling such a technical product; and why there is such value in getting feedback from your users. Not only that, but he also outlines the relationship between customers and those in the tech community - is there much of a difference between them, or are they one in the same?
