Envy (Ayo Edebiri), Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser), & Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos). The original emotions, led by Joy, find themselves sidelined as these new feelings take over Headquarters. Joy, ever optimistic, teams up with Sadness, whose deeper understanding of human complexity proves crucial, to embark on a quest through Riley's mind. Their mission? To restore harmony and help Riley find her true self amidst the emotional upheaval. Alongside Riley's internal journey, we meet new external characters like Valentina 'Val' Ortiz (Lilimar), a popular girl at Riley's high school, whose influence stirs up a mix of emotions, from admiration to rivalry. "Inside Out 2" explores themes of self-identity, acceptance of all emotions, and the importance of not letting one emotion dominate. It's a heartwarming, adventurous sequel that promises laughter, tears, and a deeper look into what it means to grow up in today's world.
