Our springboard for today’s discussion is: James 4:6-7: "But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: 'God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.' Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Humility is a powerful virtue in spiritual warfare. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. When we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil from a place of humility, we stand firm in our battles. Humility positions us to receive God’s grace and strength, making it essential for overcoming the enemy.
The Role of Humility in Resisting the Enemy:
Humility helps us recognize our dependence on God rather than relying on our own strength. It opens us to God’s guidance and protection. James 4:7 instructs us to submit to God and resist the devil. By humbling ourselves, we acknowledge our need for God’s power in our lives.
Strategies for Maintaining Humility in Spiritual Warfare:
