S1E1: Antigua Guatemala and an Accidental Kidnapping

Welcome to our first episode! Today we relive the experiences of our host while we take a quick tour of some of the charms of the historical and beautiful town of Antigua. We'll talk about that famous yellow arch you see in anything and everything to do with Guatemala, accessibility, some of the things that have destroyed or almost destroyed the city and more!

I feel like I need to clarify something that I said in this episode, specifically for the "gotcha" people- I’m not exactly sure what the specific requirements are for something to be labeled a machine gun. If you really, really want to, you can get an automatic weapon legally in a lot of states the US, pending certain conditions, of course. This is a completely different thing than your concealed permit or license- that you can get in some states, can’t get in others, and don’t even need in others. This is a different beast. You have to deal with the ATF, there’s the F1 app, time & money, tax stamp, more time & money, the weapon, the ammo, more time & money, your F4 app, more time & money… and there’s still a limit on the number of rounds you can legally fire. I don’t want to misrepresent the facts. If it’s something that you are interested in, there are lots of really great resources. That just isn’t something that I have personal experience with so if I mislabeled something in the episode, it wasn’t intentional. I promise.

Also, I misspoke when I said "8 1/2 sticks" of dynamite, lol.
