Hey everybody, welcome to Philly Big J's PhanCrave Crave Podcast, where Philly sports is heard from the city to the birds, baby, and I'm about to feed you that word, baby. Woo!
Let's kick things off with our Eagles' big win down in Brazil. Saquon Barkley dominated with three touchdowns and 109 yards rushing. Jalen Hurts showed growth, beating the blitz and making key plays, despite some growing pains. Our defense was tight, with standout performances from Zach Ballen Baun and Nakobe Dean. The front four needs to step up against the Falcons for us to go 2-0, baby!
Switching gears to our phighten Phils, the youngsters have carried us through an injury bug, helping us maintain the best record in the majors at 88-58. Cody Clemens secured his playoff roster spot, and our bullpen is shutting it down with a 2.9 ERA. Despite Bryce Harper's home run drought, the team is firing on all cylinders.
Lastly, we can't have our Sixers leaving the city of brotherly love. The community and officials need to figure this out to keep the Sixers at home. I'll also give you my NFL pick five for fun, with the Eagles dominating the Falcons 34-17. Go Birds, baby! Fly, Eagles, fly!
