Samuel Osborne, also known as Self Worth Sam, underwent a life-changing event in 2008 when a piece of metal flew through his left eyeball and caused him to have emergency surgery. This event caused pain, frustration, and depression, ultimately leading him to become an Imposter Syndrome Expert and Demartini Method Facilitator. Imposter syndrome can cause individuals to feel like frauds or imposters, but Sam helps individuals to break the cycle and clarify the hierarchy of their values to start living authentically and avoid self-doubt and anxiety. Sam is deeply committed to both learning and teaching. Through his studies in Philosophy at university, he was exposed to the wisdom and teachings of some of the greatest minds in history. This experience ignited a passion within him to become a teacher of self-mastery, sharing the insights and knowledge he gained from various sources of written wisdom. He believes in the transformative power of education and aims to inspire others to unlock their full potential.

Sam's expertise in self-esteem and imposter syndrome is based on his deep understanding of the root causes of these issues. According to Sam, low self-esteem can be traced back to various experiences, such as childhood trauma or repeated failures in a specific area. On the other hand, an imposter syndrome is a unique form of self-doubt that affects high achievers. Despite their significant experience and accolades, individuals with imposter syndrome still feel like they are frauds. This feeling of inadequacy is different from general self-doubt, which is often experienced by individuals who are new to a task or job and lack experience. Sam's insight into the psychology of self-worth and imposter syndrome empowers him to help others overcome these challenges and achieve their full potential. With his guidance, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of their own worth and find the confidence to pursue their goals with clarity and purpose.

Combating imposter syndrome centers on living a life in accordance with one's core principles, according to Sam's perspective. This approach empowers individuals to pursue activities that they find meaningful and fulfilling. By aligning one's actions with one's values, it is possible to build a career or business that aligns with one's passions, leading to greater satisfaction and contentment. Conversely, when individuals act contrary to their ethics, they are more likely to experience feelings of inadequacy and impostorism, leading them to compare themselves unfavorably with others and underestimate their accomplishments. Sam is eager to assist individuals in clarifying their values and leading more satisfying lives that reflect their personal worth.

He advises individuals who may be experiencing imposter syndrome to clarify and live by their highest standards. He suggests categorizing life into seven areas: spiritual, financial, physical, social, family, mental, and vocation, and ranking them in order of priority. Sam acknowledges that it may be a challenge to determine one's values, as individuals may have been influenced by external factors such as family, society, or religion. However, he suggests that one's life demonstrates their moral standards, and individuals can look at how they spend their time, money, and energy to gain insight into their ethics. Sam exemplifies his own values through his love for education, business, and health.

He shares a guiding principle and some practical tips on how to stop comparing oneself to others and start comparing daily actions to one's hierarchy of standards. By asking themselves whether the day's activities helped fulfill their highest values, individuals can become more self-aware and real. Sam suggests breaking down the seven areas of life into small, achievable tasks and adding them to your daily schedule, creating a checklist to monitor progress. By focusing on completing activities related to fulfilling your highest principles, your self-worth can increase, and imposter syndrome can dissolve. Ultimately, this approach helps individuals lead a more fulfilling life that aligns with their true self-worth.
