Here are some of the poems we are playing with during the warm up part of class. Before academic work, choose some songs and poems and work with the sounds. This is especially important for neurodivergent folks! Are you living with a form of dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia? Are you working with ADD or ADHD? Working with poetry and speech creates neuro pathways and help with building attention spans, hearing nuances, and clarifying articulation and enunciation.
