On this episode of The Matthew Yao Show podcast, Matthew talks about the difference between relationships and connections. In reaching out to successful people, ask yourself how you can build relationships with them by giving them VALUE first. People think of successful people or mentors like "things" to be used, "connections" to be acquired. If you want to stand out among the crowd, you must think of how you can impress them by GIVING them value. Sending gifts, offering your time, being generous, showing that you care. This is how it's done. "Facebook & Mark Zuckerberg has built so many millions of connections, but it's not about the connections, it's about the relationships"
