Jennifer and Kevin Sluder are a husband and wife filmmaking team who've founded Sunshine Boy Productions in 2015. Their projects include Play Violet for Me, with producer/director Matt Mercer, Feeding Time (horror) directed/written by Matt Mercer, Mainline (sci-i/thriller) directed/written by Eric Kleifield, Family (drama/horror) directed/written by Elaine Loh, and in 2017, Kevin stepped behind the camera for his directorial debut, the horror short, Heartless, which will be hitting the festival circuit early 2018.
Jennifer Sluder attended college and medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she graduated with a BA in Chemistry and Doctor of Medicine. She loves learning and is thrilled to be the driving force behind the continually evolving media presence of Sunshine Boy Productions. She has since expanded her skill set into web design and served as Executive Producer with Kevin on four short films, Feeding Time, Mainline, Family, and Heartless.
Kevin Sluder is a Nicholl Fellowship Semi-finalist and two-time Script Pipeline top 20 finalist, Kevin received a Tracking-Board “Recommend” for his script, The Memory Sphere, in 2014. He subsequently placed on the 2014 Young and Hungry List, naming him as one of the industry’s top 100 “Screenwriters on the Verge”.

-- Play Violet For Me - Loner Foley Merrick's (Matt Mercer, Contracted: Phase II, The Mind's Eye) obsession with the love of his life Violet Dupree (Najarra Townsend, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Contracted) turns tragic when he finds her dead on her kitchen floor. When he calls on Violet's twin sister, Lyla Dupree (Najarra Townsend), for help, the faint line between reality and fantasy becomes increasingly blurred.
