South Carolina State Library has launched a new campaign, Connecting State Government to Information Resources; In late July, more than 25 University of South Carolina Gamecock football players and mascot Cocky took the field at the Richland County Public Library in Columbia to emphasize the importance of summer reading; The Director of the South Carolina State Library, David Goble, and State Library board member, Dr. B.G.
