What does commitment look like to you?
It’s the decision to step out of your comfort zone and make a big choice that aligns with your values over a longer period of time.
It’s deciding to be vulnerable and authentic with someone even though it might be scary. It’s choosing to put in the extra work to achieve a goal, even when you’re tired or don’t feel like it. Commitment is about being present in the moment and fully engaged in whatever you’re doing, whether it’s a relationship, a job, or a hobby.
Today's guest Jeremiah Ukponrefe is a committed comedian turned fantasy book author. He always loved making people laugh, but when he discovered his true passion was writing, he decided to pursue it full time. He wrote his first book, "Hive."
Since then, he has been plotting several more books, building a large fanbase that includes comedy and book fans alike.
In our interview, we discuss what went into writing, editing, and publishing his debut novel that helped him make his first book sell.
