Even under the lowest levels of depravity, and the guilt and shame associated with it, redemption can be achieved through the grace of Christ. When the FBI and Vice Police showed up at his door to question him about his connection to a local child pornographer, Michael Chestnut feared his life was over. Though he was not guilty of any crime, the enticing alure of an adult chat room led him to cross many lines which cost his marriage, his relationship with his daughter, his job, and his self-respect. After struggling through years of repressing a traumatic molestation, his secret life and exposure to same sex pornography was brought to light in a devasting way. Though he carried his guilt for years, a near death experience and the help of a friend and Christian counselor helped him make restitution. Now, as the author of the book Secret Emails, Lies, Divorce and a Journey to Restoration he tells his story to help men facing adversity overcome their trials.
