In this episode, we share the powerful testimony of Anna Warner Mayes, a woman of God who faced a life-altering battle with stage 4 thyroid cancer in 2008. As someone who loved serving on the worship team at her church, Anna’s journey took an unexpected turn when cancer forever changed her vocal chords. Despite losing her physical voice, Anna found a new way to make an impact by creating The Lipstick Journey, a movement to support and encourage others diagnosed with cancer, helping them feel less alone in their battles.
With a deep desire to still be heard, Anna turned to journaling, and soon her reflections blossomed into the inspirational blog My Lipstick Journey Through Cancer.
